Master L.A. Style In The Fall With This Easy Outfit

Excited to share my first fall look with you! Even though fall fashion isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when you think of LA, for us Angelenos, it’s easy to recognize the subtle signs when the season arrives: the crisp air in the mornings, the cooler evenings, and my personal favourite: a good reason to throw on your favorite cardigan.

As you can probably tell, I’m a big fan of layered looks, and I often pair shorts with cardigans in the fall. My go-to cardigan for this time of the year is an embroidered knit piece from Maje. For those looking to channel some effortlessly cool Parisian vibes, you definitely want to have Maje on your radar. It’s one of my favorite French brands and I just adore their bohemian, urban pieces like this cardigan.

I wore it with a pair of scalloped-hemmed denim shorts and a crisp white dress shirt by Alice McCall —another fashion brand I love. Whether it is an interesting hemline or feminine ruffles, you want to look for items that have fun details to elevate your look. My dress shirt, for example, has eyelet ruffles at the shoulders and long sleeves that take a basic wardrobe essential to the next level.

For a touch of pizzazz, I wore an emerald green, suede crossbody bag with fringe details. My current obsession these days are crossbody bags. They’re versatile, perfect for everyday, and instantly add a fresh and cool vibe to any ensemble. What I especially love about this bag from Maje are the handles, which makes it double as a tote bag too!

The milder weather in LA allows plenty of flexibility when dressing, meaning you’ll get away with fewer layers. With just a little creativity and statement pieces, you’ve got a winning look that’s perfect for staying cozy and stylish during those cooler evenings. Double win!
